Their Future Today is a grass roots UK based charity founded by Lynn Stanier and her small group of volunteers. Their work is 3 fold: to help re-unite children abandoned in orphanages in Sri Lanka which frequently happens because of a change in that child’s family finances: to provide education to these children including vocational training for older children so they become financially independent. Finally, by working towards social change by collaborating with global specialist partners to raise awareness of the harm caused to children in orphanages.

The latter is hugely important as it educates officials and individuals about how an alternative family structure can look, and provide foster care knowledge. By providing training at the highest level to National Childcare Services, the Judiciary, law students, political leaders, civil society organizations, faith groups, universities, local NGO’s  and communities to keep families together where it is safe and possible.

Their long-term vision is to see poverty reduced, communities empowered, and lives transformed to end institutionalisation and introduce a foster care system so that every child can reclaim their human right to grow up in a family.

A proportion of all revenues generated by Human Health by the Clinic will be donated to Their Future Today. We are also working on a specific health project which we will be able to share soon.
