What does a Well Woman Clinic consist of?

You can expect a full physical examination including all your observations such as height, weight, waist circumference, blood pressure, heart and lung function, and range of movement. We will also ask you questions covering about how you feel, your monthly cycle if you are still having one and your lifestyle.

Then more specifically we will carry out the following:

• Breast exam and / or self-exam
• Pelvic exam
• Screening for fertility, ovarian and sexual health problems

You will undergo an extensive blood test and the results, along with the findings from your assessment, will be used to recommend any treatments and / or possible referrals for mammograms and pelvic scanning for example.
